-
Q: HM6 is one-phase system, can I connect it to a 3-phase grid?A: Yes, you can. The electrician can pull out L/N/PE from the 3-phase MCB.
-
Q: Do all the AC ports support 6000W outputA: For the AU version, the maximum output of HM6 is 6000W in total, which means the sum of the power of home loads and back-up loads.
-
Q: What is the data refresh rate of the app?A: When the app is open, data refreshes every 5 seconds. When the app is not open, data updates every 5 minutes, and all updates are logged.
-
Q: Will a system upgrade affect electricity usage?A: Without a backup load: Power supply is not affected. With a backup load: Power may be interrupted for approximately 10–15 minutes.
-
Q: How long does a remote upgrade take?A: Dongle: 2–5 minutesDSP: ~20 minutesMCU: ~10 minutesBattery: 30–45 minutes
-
Q: What should I do if the system shows “offline”?A: Check whether the Wi-Fi information was recently changed. If yes, please reconnect the network in the app.Check the dongle indicator light. If there is no red light, please unplug and replug the dongle.
-
Q: Does the battery need to be fully charged before a storm?A: Yes. There are two recommended methods:lSwitch the system to Emergency Mode before the storm.lSet a schedule and cutoff SOC in Battery Management Mode.
-
Q: Why is there PV data showing at night?A: Please check the installation of the PV CT. The CT should only be clamped on the PV inverter cable and should not include the ESS line.
-
Q: The battery SOC is sufficient, but it remains idle.A: Despite sufficient State of Charge (SOC), the battery operation is limited, likely due to protection events such as those for temperature, voltage, current, etc.
-
Q: The battery SOC is around 30%, but it is idle and not discharging. Why?A: When the battery reaches the default cutoff SOC of 15%, it must first be recharged to 35% using PV energy before discharging can resume. This design protects battery lifespan and avoids frequent short cycling.
