Zurich, Switzerland ā 16ā17 September 2026.Ā ESYsunhome took part in Solar & Storage Live Zurich 2026 at Messe ZĆ¼rich, Switzerlandās leading solar and storage exhibition. Over two show days, the team met installers, distributors and homeowners from Switzerland and neighbouring markets to answer a practical question: how can an electric vehicle sit inside the home energy system, instead of only drawing from it?
The focus of the booth was the EV22, ESYsunhomeās bidirectional DC EV charger, enabling V2G and V2HĀ applications. The EV22 charges the vehicle from the home system and can then send power back into the household load or toward the grid, so the car becomes a mobile reserve when the home needs support.Ā Key figures visitors asked about:
- up to 22 kWĀ DC
- charging voltage 200ā1000 V, discharging voltage 300ā1000 V
- outdoor-ready IP65-rated protection
- interfaces CCS1 / CCS2 / GBT
The EV22 is designed to work with ESYsunhomeās HM three-phase all-in-one home ESS ā HM10-H, HM15 and HM20 ā so solar energy comes in, storage is managed on site, and power can be shared between home, grid and vehicle. On the charger, Fast Charging draws from solar, grid and battery together for up to 22 kW output; Green Charging puts PV first.
Looking ahead. Zurich confirmed what the booth was built to show: a three-phase home can run as one loop ā solar in through the HM series, storage on site, and the EV22 moving power between car, house and grid when V2G/V2H is needed.
