Q: What is Cold Temperature Resistant Mode (Cold Mode)?
A: The cold mode is designed to keep the battery output efficiently in different kinds of cold conditions. The system will automatically heat up the battery. It is recommended not to turn off this function.
Q: How to deal with the scenario of an imminent power outage?
A: You can go on the scene diagram on the home page of the APP, and enter the power flow diagram page, click the mode button in the upper left corner, enter the mode setting interface, and select the emergency mode.
Q: How to deal with the scenario that the HM6 system alarms and the light bar is red?
A: Please contact Esysunhome local support or a local service provider for professional solutions.
Q: Is the electricity still available when the device pushes the OTA upgrade?
A: No, the device will be powered off during the OTA upgrade, please switch to grid power supply in time.
Q: What is the data refresh rate of the app?
A: When the app is open, data refreshes every 5 seconds. When the app is not open, data updates every 5 minutes, and all updates are logged.
Q: Will a system upgrade affect electricity usage?
A: Without a backup load: Power supply is not affected.With a backup load: Power may be interrupted for approximately 10–15 minutes.
Q: How long does a remote upgrade take?
A: Dongle: 2–5 minutesDSP: ~20 minutesMCU: ~10 minutesBattery: 30–45 minutes
Q: What should I do if the system shows “offline”?
A: Check whether the Wi-Fi information was recently changed. If yes, please reconnect the network in the app.Check the dongle indicator light. If there is no red light, please unplug and replug the dongle.
Q: Does the battery need to be fully charged before a storm?
A: Yes. There are two recommended methods:lSwitch the system to Emergency Mode before the storm.lSet a schedule and cutoff SOC in Battery Management Mode.
Q: Why is there PV data showing at night?
A: Please check the installation of the PV CT. The CT should only be clamped on the PV inverter cable and should not include the ESS line.
